When a woman's husband dies, she turns to a solid source of income -- marijuana, of course!  The lead character of the story has to balance between selling pot to her neighbors and being there for her children -- all while keeping it a secret from the police, the mobsters, and just about everyone else that will get in her way. This is a Showtime television show, which means that it's a bit darker -- you have to take the show with a grain of salt on all counts. Is this going to be a show that you'll want to have on when it comes to the kids? Absolutely not -- save this one for you and your girlfriends to watch, savor, and enjoy.

6. True Blood

The moment you hear the theme song for this show, you just wont' be able to get it out of your head! True Blood is all about vampires, werewolves, witches, and other supernatural creatures -- including a telepathic human that can read minds. True Blood is an action meets romance show filled with very attractive men, very scary situations, and plenty of drama for the entire couch to really sink their teeth into -- no pun intended.

7. House

How would you feel if your boss was a complete jerk and you still had to depend on him? Welcome to the world of House, where a team of interns has to work with Dr. Gregory House, a brilliant doctor that has a highly sarcastic attitude. Again, this isn't a super-show for women specifically, but it still is a show that has plenty of themes available for women -- like the romantic angles. If you like to laugh, you'll definitely like this show.
