Insidious is a horror film that is about a family moving into a brand new home and after the family has moved into the home they make a discovery that changes everything. Many things start to happen at once after they realize the house is haunted by a lot of spirits and that other presences continue to stay there and between the presences and the spirits, everything becomes terrifying.

The parents Josh (Played by Patrick Wilson) and the mother Renai (Played by Rose Byrne) moved in this home and they have three kids. The youngest kid is an infant and then they have two sons named Dalton (Played by Ty Simpkins) and Foster (Played By Andrew Astor). The house at first seems like a normal house and it has only had a few odd things to happen in the past but not enough to raise alarm and scare people. That changes when Dalton decides that he would like to go up and look in the attic. When he is in the attic he actually sees something and falls a very short distance but that short distance puts him in a serious coma.

The boy is able to home with all of the medical equipment so he is able to stay alive. When all of the spooky events start happening and things get very bad the mother Renai decides that it's time to hire paranormal investigators. The investigators check out the house and discover that the house is indeed haunted with not only ghosts but even demons.
