BBC television began in 1932, a service of the British Broadcasting Corporation. The British Broadcasting Corporation is working since 1927 under the terms of a Royal Charter in the UK.

The BBC functions in UK with several television networks, television stations and being a broadcaster. They also have the production of large number of programs of their own. It is one of the world’s largest television networking companies.

BBC World News - it was founded in 1991. It has largest TRPs of any other Bbc channel and any news channel in the entire world.

BBC America - BBC America is owned and operated by BBC worldwide Americas. It is available on both satellite and cable.

BBC Canada - BBC Canada is operated by BBC and is joint venture between CW Media and BBC Worldwide.

BBC Kids - BBC Kids is a Canadian English language channel which is aiming at youth ranging from pre-schoolers to teens.

BBC Prime/BBC Entertainment - This channel is available across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia and is purely owned by BBC worldwide. This channel showcasing drama, comedy, light programming made by BBC production house.

BBC Lifestyle - BBC Lifestyle was first launched in July 2007 in Singapore. This channel mainly shows inspiration for the improvement in your lifestyle.

BBC Knowledge - BBC Knowledge currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia. This channel displays the best realistic and non fiction entertainment programming from BBC Production house.

UK.TV - It was launched in Australia in August 1996 and later made available in New Zealand in November 2003.UKTV is a subscription television channel in Australia which was originally a joint venture with Foxtel (60% ownership) and the RTL Group (20% ownership), now BBC owned it solely.

Animal Planet - It’s a wildlife channel co-owned with Discovery Networks. It is broadcasted in many markets of the world.
