Every year we saw the list of movies which would be going to hit the chartbusters. Likewise, the year 2009 too come up with the list of some smashing hits of the year, out of which some has been released and rest are about to hit the chartbuster in coming months. Year 2009 is the year of many sequels. Some of the best predicted or smashed busters are:


The Wrestler

Mickey Rourke stars in the film “The Wrestler” by Darren Aronofsky. This movie is all about an over-the-hill professional wrestler trying to right his wrongs with his life at risk. Mickey Rourke also won best actor award in Golden Globe Awards 2009.




Fast And Furious 4

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker returned to the movie that created their careers. The fourth production of F&F franchise got 4 nominations in year 2009. This movie was directed by Justin Lin. Movie got an overall rating of 6.8.




X-Men: Origins: Wolverine

It’s a sequel movie of X-men series. It’s all about Marvel’s stubbiest mutant, whose claws got replaced with super-hard adamantium.




Terminator Salvation

John Connor came out to lead a fight against Skynet. But due to the presence of another time traveler named Marcus throws all of Connor’s convictions into doubt.

Transformer: Revenge Of The Fallen

A sequel of the Shia LaBoeuf vehicle is about big robots that turn into cars, among other things. This movie is considered to be a mindless entertainment and got an overall rating of 6.5.

Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince

It’s a latest movie from the Harry Potter series which delayed from last December. The young wizard finally learns the secrets of the virtually inviolable Voldemort.
