If you’ve been watching the same TV shows season after season, you might be looking for a new show to get into. There are several new shows that have just started that are looking very good so far.
“V” is a brand new show that premiered November 3rd, 2009. If you lean toward the science fiction side, this is definitely the show for you.
As the story goes, a technologically advanced species of aliens comes to earth, claiming to be peaceful. But of course things aren’t always what they seem. Spaceships arrive and hover above 29 of the largest cities in world as their leader, Anna, comes saying that they are a peaceful race.
But a small group of humans don’t buy it. One of them, FBI agent Erica Evans, finds that the aliens have in fact been on earth for decades. They have since infiltrated the businesses, religious organizations, and governments of the world.
Their plan is world domination. Erica becomes a part of a resistance movement, but the aliens have the favor of most humans on earth.
Another show to check out is “Flash Forward”. It premiered on September 24th, 2009. In an unknown event, everyone on earth looses consciousness at the same time, for exactly 137 seconds. What they see in those 137 seconds seem to be their lives six months in the future. Now, a team of FBI agents in Los Angeles is conducting an investigation to try and find out what happened.
If you’re more into comedies, you might try the new series “Community“. This show follows the students of a community college in Denver, Colorado. It premiered September 17, 2009. The story is set at Greendale Community College, and centers around a suspended lawyer, Jeff, who has to go back to school because his college degree is invalid as determined by the State Bar. As you can imagine, Jeff has many interesting experiences going back to school at a community college.
Hopefully, hearing about these new shows has inspired you to check them out. They are all good shows, and are worth taking a look at. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find your next favorite TV show among them.
