If you are into television shows, and if you especially love television shows that are funny, then The Office is probably a television show that you watch a lot. It has been on the air for several seasons now, has gone through many different eras, but has also remained the same - it is a comedic television show about the lives and experiences of the paper salesmen, accountants, interns, receptionists, and managers of a paper warehouse called Dunder Mifflin.
Basically, it is a typical office. Fax machines, computers, telephones, sales calls, quarterly reports, and corporate mayhem are only a few of the things that you will find in this series.
Starred in by Steve Carrel, who is joined by a truly unforgettable host, this television show includes all the elements of a popular series. Unforgettable characters, hilarious one-liners, awkward moments, outrageous situations, and unbelievable social stunts help to make this show exactly what it is - truly classic.
So, if you have not gotten to watch this show yet, you should. The main characters include Michael (the manager), Jim (the salesman/later turned manager), Pam (receptionist/later turned salesman), Dwight (assistant to the regional manager/ salesman/ hilarious nemesis of Jim and best friend to Michael - he also practices martial arts and hunts bears) and several others.
The show is filmed like a documentary, but it is funny in the way that it all appears to be real life. The characters look at the camera, just as if it were a real documentary, which gives it a very life-like feel. And since it seems more like a reality show than a television show, it makes it even more hilarious, because the thought of anything going on in real life like it does at Dunder Mifflin is outrageous, and hysterical, on several levels!
